Ben joined the Technology and Innovation Development Office of Children's Hospital Boston in August of 2007. As a Contracts Associate, Ben manages and negotiates hospital research agreements, such as clinical trial agreements, sponsored research agreements, material transfer agreement, and confidential disclosure agreements. Ben also acts as liaison between the hospital, hospital investigators, and industry research sponsors to set up clinical research agreements, to help ensure that research is set up efficiently and that the hospital's and investigators' rights are adequately protected.
Prior to joining Children's, Ben worked for MIT's Office of Intellectual Property Counsel and Technology Transfer Office. He obtained his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2006. Ben also holds a B.A. from Hamilton College, where his senior thesis project involved studying cholinergic therapies to cognitive deficits symptomatic of Alzheimer's disease.

Fernando joined the Technology and Innovation Development Office of Children's Hospital Boston in 2007. As a Contracts Associate, Fernando negotiates material transfer agreements, clinical trial agreements, confidential disclosure agreements, sponsored research agreements and other various types of agreements.
Prior to joining Children's, Fernando worked for the Enabling Science Technology Department at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in Waltham. Additionally, he completed a one year clerkship, assisting clients with various immigration issues while in law school. Fernando holds a J.D. from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.

Lianne joined the Technology and Innovation Development Office of Children’s Hospital Boston in January of 2010. Prior to joining Children’s, Lianne was an Associate in the Corporate Department of Ropes & Gray LLP. Lianne received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and obtained her J.D. from New York Law School, where she was an Articles Editor of the Law Review. Lianne is a member of the New York and Massachusetts Bars. She is an active volunteer for the Boston Public Market Association and enjoys cooking, skiing, running and cycling.

Allison joined the Technology and Innovation Development Office of Children's Hospital Boston in 2010. In her role at Children’s, Allison develops, manages and negotiates clinical trial budgets and study tracking sheets in compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Children's, Allison was the Associate Director, Contracts and Purchasing Operations, in the Finance Department at Endo Pharmaceuticals (formerly Indevus Pharmaceuticals). Allison comes to Children’s with over 14 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry operations management and clinical program financial management. Allison earned a B.S. in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
