Clinical Trials

Children’s Hospital investigators and clinicians conduct cutting edge clinical research in a variety of pediatric indications, making us a partner of choice for industry sponsors. Children’s Hospital has performed hundreds of clinical trials over the years including 42 company sponsored clinical trials in 2008 alone. Children’s Hospital clinicians successfully translate their innovations to the clinic, having over 40 ongoing clinical trials at a time under their own INDs, IDEs and NSRs.

The Clinical Trials Office (CTO) is the principal point of contact for establishing clinical trial and related agreements at Children's Hospital. The CTO works closely with TIDO, Clinical Research Program, Regulatory Affairs and the Institutional Review Board to establish acceptable protocols, budgets, contracts and oversight of trials conducted at Children’s Hospital.
